David Alexander Clarke, Jr. is an American former law enforcement official who served as Sheriff of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, from 2002 to 2017.  In 2013, he was elected Sheriff of the Year by the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association for “staying true to his oath, true to his badge, and true to the people he has promised to serve and protect.”
